The purpose of this study is to clarify the features of university students' postures using a 3D motion capture system. Objective posture analysis was performed on 12 university students who acquired postural expertise using subjectively good, normal and bad postures. The displacement (displacement in the anteroposterior direction on the sagittal plane) of the reflective marker attached to ten thoracic vertebra on the X axis was about 80 mm backward from good to bad. The normal posture position was displaced backward by about 40 mm. There was a difference in the tendency of the combination of normal posture and good posture and the tendency of the combination of good posture and bad posture, and there was no difference in the tendency of normal posture and bad posture. It was suggested that posture judgment using a 3D motion capture system could be used to motivate posture recognition.
