The development and practical realization of myoelectric hands are expected for the daily life support of upper-extremity amputees. Electromyogram (EMG) pattern recognition and advanced hand motion control are essential for the realization of myoelectric hands. This study describes a grasping motion control and operation training procedures for the operating efficiency improvement. The former includes the variable velocity control and the grasping force induction by LED, which contributes the grasping operation efficiency improvement. The latter provides the enhancement of user’s operation skill. Some experiments are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed grasping motion control and operation training system.
