The sthenometry apparatus was produced experimentally as a kind of equipment for measuring the balance condition of the body. Load-displacement and electric potential-displacement curves of the deltoid muscle were measured. Each value of maximum deltoid force, energy of deltoid and electric potential-displacement was obtained from these curves. Furthermore, in order to compare the values measured by our apparatus and by others, the flexor forces were measured by a grip strength dynamometer and a pinch gauge, Practically, the flexor forces for short legged people were measured, and as a result, the relationships between the forces and the short legged compensation for short legged people ware measured, and as a result, the relationships between the forces and the short legged compensation for height were acquired. It is found that for the four kinds of detected values - grip strength, IP flexor force with tip pinch, maximum deltoid force and energy of deltoid - maximum deltoid force and energy of deltoid had a better correlation with the short legged compensation for height.
